Reservoir
Pozlovice lies on the border of the White Carpathian protected scenic area. The character of the region is created by the reservoir, whose initial purpose was to control flooding, but today is used mainly for recreation. The landmark of the village is the renowned Catholic Church of St. Martin. Among the important cultural monuments are the cross above the church, a statue of St. John of Nepomuk, wayside crosses along the field roads to surrounding villages. Above the village are the ruins of the castle Starý Světlov. The village is characterised by its exceptional environment, excellent cuisine, and the interesting cultural programmes arranged here, highlighted by the festivals Kulturní léto (Cultural Summer) and Hudební doteky (Musical Sensation). The village offers leisure-time activities such as skittles, bowling, horseback riding, tennis courts, and also available are a groomed cross-country track, concerts and cultural performances.
